Strong Foundations
We believe children can have a rich, joyful childhood and a strong academic foundation. We intentionally build essential skills in handwriting, phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics—including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Our approach is inspired by Jolly Phonics, Houghton Mifflin, UFLI, the Science of Reading, and units centered around scientific phenomena aligned with the work of private schools in the United States . We build strong foundations so children have the skills and confidence to think deeply, explore freely, and keep learning.
Strong Minds, Strong Bodies
At FW, you will see that children are given more than strong academic foundations—they are developing strong, capable bodies. Reading, writing, and mathematics matter, but so do movement, sports, dance, breathwork, coordination, strength, and physical confidence. We give physical development the same intentional focus we give academics, helping children learn to care for their bodies, regulate their energy, take healthy risks, and discover the joy of being active. We are developing not only how children think, but how they move, breathe, and show up in the world.

We believe kids grow best through relationships—with their peers, their environment, and trusted adults. Our programs are built around shared experiences that foster growth, independence, and lifelong friendships.
Brave Spaces, Not Just Safe Ones

Presence Over Screens
We encourage unplugged play and face-to-face connection. Our programs help kids rediscover the joy of being fully present with themselves and each other....not through screens.
Experience Working with Kids
Ever go to a cub scouts gathering run by parent volunteers? You might know what we mean when we say chaos. There is an art to gathering a group of children's attention, and it takes years to gain the skill. Our staff have a combined experience of over 30 years in all types of settings from traditional classrooms, to studios, to workshops to outdoor schools to international settings.
